A note from

Nancy Sullivan

Co-founder of W1WORKSHOPS

I started in this industry young and have been working professionally for 18 years in all areas including TV & Film, Musical Theatre, Theatre and more recently directing.

When it comes to actors, what I specialise in is audition prep/text analysis for Theatre/TV and Acting Through Song and audition prep for Musical Theatre. Over the last 10 years I've worked with actors of all levels of experience and now work with professionals on areas they feel they could be sharper on, as well as their mind set and outlook on the opportunities ahead of them which is so vital.

Agents now recommend their clients see me if they feel they're getting recalls but not quite landing the job and this is where I work very well and see great results.

Being a working actress myself I totally GET IT, which leads to me being able to translate the work easily to you and have brilliant relationships with the actors I work with. Sometimes it's just for a one-off session to land the job and sometimes it can be an ongoing process to help you get there.

Whether I'm working or not I'm always here and happy to help when you need that extra assistance, be it ongoing or occasionally, the door is always open.

-I require 48 hours notice to cancel a session. Within 48 hours 50% of the lesson fee is to be paid and with 24 hours the full session fee will have to be paid for.

-I cannot run over if you are late due to other appointments I have.

- I will always try where possible to change your slot within the same week if you have to cancel, in which case no cancellation fee is necessary but if we cannot rearrange within the same week the above cancellation fees apply.

'm flexible with teaching times around my acting work and teach Monday-Saturday with the odd Sunday if it's needed.

Lesson prices are £60 for an hour or £50 for regular W1 Students

1.5 hours is £90 /£80

I teach from a studio in Bermondsey Monday afternoons a few minute walk from Bermondsey Tube.

I also teach from home which is located in Abbey Wood, Zone 4, and I am a 5 minute walk from the station. Direct trains leave regularly from London Bridge, Charing cross and Waterloo East. These take between 25-35 minutes depending which station you're coming from.
