September 2018 to August 2019

(1 YEAR)

In September 2018 we began working with 14 special people, taking part in our first Advanced Process & Performance (1 Year) course. Running 9-5, 3 days a week for 41 weeks of the year, the students will complete the course in August 2019. Full information on this course can be found here, alongside news of future plans for a return of the course if and when it's announced.

W1’s 1-year Process & Performance course sets itself apart by being one of the most bespoke, unique and affordable courses offered.
We restrict our classes to just 14 students allowing every student to be noticed. With these classes running 3 days a week (9am-5pm) for a full 41 weeks of the year; W1 gives you the flexibility to work while you train. All training comes from tutors currently working in the industry, a list of our guest tutors can be viewed in our About Us page. Lastly, whilst on the course you will perform in 2 public performances: 1 night of contemporary writing and 1 musical concert.
The course will end with guaranteed  private meetings with top agencies and casting directors, leaving no pressure on public performances throughout to try and find representation. A more detailed breakdown of the course and information on fees can be found by clicking on the links below.

If you have attended any of our workshops you may already know this answer to this question as our ethos and attitude in workshops will be the same during the 1 year course. What this course is not is a foundation course with the view to you then going on for further training. This course is designed to prepare you for the industry in every possible way from every possible angle, from getting jobs to remaining a creative, knowledgable actor even in quiet times.

We will provide you over the course of the year with a process in all areas of performance, from TV technique to Acting Through Song which you can apply from Day 1 of your career. You will leave the course feeling prepared, you will be introduced to agents and casting directors to get you off to the best possible start and you will have individual time and attention to fulfil your full progression and potential in that year ensuring no one we accept on to this course will ‘slip through the net’, as we see so many do.
